POLICE are urging beachgoers to be vigilant after a spate of stealing offences at the Scarborough foreshore.
Scarborough Police Senior Sergeant Craig Wanstall said offences at Scarborough Beach had increased compared to the same time last year and warned people not to leave personal items unattended while visiting the beachfront.
